Dr. Dana Lowe, B.Sc., D.C.

Dr. Dana LoweDr. Dana Lowe completed an honours Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology at the University of Guelph. While at university, Dr. Lowe started chiropractic care for recurrent headache pain and was so enthusiastic about the relief she received, she decided to become a chiropractor, graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1999.

Dr. Lowe has been focused on providing natural healing for the whole family, and has been helping patients who suffer from aches and pains resulting from repetitive activities, car accidents, pregnancy, slips and falls, workplace injuries, heavy lifting and sports injuries in a private practice since 1999. Recently she went back to school and became fully certified in Animal Chiropractic. As well as maintaining her human practice she now has incorporated the treatment of dogs, cats and horses.

In her spare time, Dr. Lowe enjoys a very active life playing ice hockey, ultimate frisbee, yoga and spinning.

Erin Berry, BHSc. PT, BHKin, CAFCI

Erin Berry is a Registered Physiotherapist receiving her degree from Queen’s University in 2005. She also received an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University in 2001. In 2006 she attended Curtin University in Perth Australia, to complete a Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Erin also has an interest in acupuncture and has received her certification through The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.

Erin has physiotherapy experience from both hospital and private practice settings. In June 2005 she spent 6 weeks volunteering as a physiotherapist with the Red Cross in Guyana, South America. She has worked alongside back, shoulder and knee orthopaedic surgeons, as well as sports medicine physicians. She has worked with individuals of all ages and physical abilities from elite international level athletes to the weekend warrior to you.

Prior to joining healing hands, she spent four years working in a large sports medicine clinic, and for the last two and a half years was the Head Physiotherapist.
Erin also has a passion for helping individuals with their weight loss goals, through physical activity and active lifestyles. Many people either do not know how to start an exercise program, have injuries, or are unsure what they should and should not be doing.

Liliya Burgess, R.M.T.

Liliya is an accomplished registered massage therapist with years of experience in various modalities and techniques that are uniquely tailored for the rejuvenation and rehabilitation of individual clients.

She is extremely passionate about the work that that she does as a massage therapist which can be seen in the treatments that she provides.  In addition to her familiarity with treating athletes Liliya is also experienced with treating many other types of clients including: Pre-natal and post-natal women, people in recovery from surgery,  job related discomfort (ie. back/shoulder/neck pain, carpel tunnel syndrome, etc.), as well as stress related ailments. Her skill in various techniques such as sport massage, myofascial work, indian head and scalp massage, hot stone massage and deep tissue massage allow her to provide a client focused, comprehensive treatment with optimal results.
